The Owl’s Nest, holiday apartment is situated in the small village of Marchwood just off the A326 and not far from the Motorway, so we are ideally situated to tour the south coast and surrounding countryside. We are literally on the edge of the New Forest National Park and only 7 miles from the historic city of Southampton.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

1. To book please send your completed booking form to Mr. J. Vella (address above) together with a deposit for £100. The remainder must be paid in full, six weeks before the start of your holiday.  For bookings made 6 or less weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable on booking.  Please make cheques payable to Mr. J. Vella

2. We recommend that you take out holiday insurance in case of cancellation should the need arise.  Full refunds will only be given if we receive written notice of cancellation more than six weeks before arrival date.  After this we can offer a refund, less administration costs, only if we can re-let the property.

3. In the unlikely event that the property is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control e.g. fire, damage or theft, we will offer a full refund of all monies paid, and you will have no claim against us.

4. The occupier undertakes to keep the property and all furniture, fittings, decorations and effects in or on the property in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the letting. We require a security deposit of £50 against breakages, but trust that, if accidents occur you will inform us immediately so that a replacement can be arranged in good time.

5. The Owl’s Nest is strictly for private holiday occupation only, and by virtue of section 9 part 1 of the Housing Act 1988 this is not an assured tenancy and possession may be recovered under Ground 3 in Schedule 2 of the Housing Act 1988.  Also, you shall not do, or allow to be done anything which may be a nuisance to the owner, or to the neighbours.

6. No more than 2 people shall sleep in or otherwise occupy The Owl’s Nest except by prior arrangement with the owner.

7. The occupier shall permit the owner, or their agent, to enter the accommodation subject to notice at any reasonable time for gardening or repairs that need to be done. For lets longer than a week entry is required for housekeeping visits.

8. The owner will not accept liability for loss or damage to any baggage, car or its contents.

9. The hirer is responsible for leaving the apartment in good order and in a clean condition.

10.The filled in and signed booking form and the booking confirmation form are contracts and as so are governed

by civil law. We will treat any cancellation on it’s merits if it is made less then six weeks before commencement of the booking.

(All prices quoted in GB pounds)

Payment must be in Sterling ( GB Pounds ) other wise a 5% surcharge must be added on to the fee payable to cover bank costs.

 

A deposit of £100 is required with booking. We also require a £100 security deposit, (refundable in full by post if apartment is left clean and nothing has been damaged)

 

The weekly rental fee includes, electricity , heating, hot water, bed linen, tea towels and bath towels

 

We also do weekend breaks during low season from £55 a night, minimum stay 3 nights , please contact us if you require more information and see our Special 4 for 3 nights offer.

The Weekly Let runs 03:00 PM Saturday to 11:00 AM Saturday
